Caribbean Sports International (“CSI”) is a corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational and amateur athletic purposes within the meaning of Section 501© (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
CSI was established in May 1997 to serve the Caribbean American communities located in New York and New Jersey. CSI’s mission is to educate, inspire, and entertain the Caribbean American communities through educational, sporting and cultural programs that reflect the diversity of the local communities. CSI seeks to provide the Caribbean American community’s youth with access to educational and athletic scholarships to further their education. CSI’s aim is to serve, with particular regard to, the Caribbean American community that is all too often overlooked and under-represented by facilitating the exchange of cultural and intellectual ideas.
